KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Juvenile Court Services <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve County Program Agreement — ACT and EET <br />Quality Assurance between Juvenile Court Services and the <br />Department of Children, Youth, and Families <br />BACKGROUND: The Department of Children, Youth and Families administers <br />evidenced -based and promising programs used in the juvenile courts <br />for eligible juvenile offenders. This County Program Agreement is <br />for consulting services provided by our office to juvenile courts <br />statewide that are providing ACT and EET programs. The contract <br />sets the parameters for the consulting services, deliverables and <br />reimbursement for staff time to develop, train, and consult ACT and <br />EET trainers statewide. <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved as to form the <br />contract (Prosecutor Review Number 27539). Additionally, <br />Information Services and the Auditor's Office has received a copy for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the County Program Agreement ACT and EET Quality <br />Assurance between Juvenile Court Services and Department of <br />Children, Youth and Families for SFY 2024-2025. <br />HANDLING: Request two signed original documents be returned to Juvenile Court <br />Services to pursue DCYF signature and subsequent return of an <br />original fully executed document to the BoCC for County records.
