BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHTNGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. /-i <br />AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF' TAX PARCEL 1I25I IN THE AMOUNT OF $2O,1OO TO <br />STOCKYARD DEVELOPMENT GROUP, LLC AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC WORIG TO EXECUTE SAID REAL ESTATE DOCUMENTS <br />WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners did conduct a public hearing on May <br />16, 2023 receiving testimony on declaring Tax Parcel No. 1 125 I surplus to county <br />needs and setting a minimum value of said Parcel at $5,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works did conduct a sealed bid solicitation for Tax Parcel I 1251 with legal <br />notice published in the newspaper of record on May 25,2023, and June 1,2023; <br />and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were due to Public Works on June 8,2023, at 3:00 pm at which time <br />two responsive bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works recommends the responsive bid from Stockyard Development <br />Group, LLC, in the amount of $20,100.00 be accepted for said parcel; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works did execute a recorded a fifty-foot easement along the centerline of <br />Whiskey Creek supporting potential creek channel improvements; and <br />WHEREAS: Public Works desires drafting the necessary Real Estate Documents for the transfer <br />of Tax Parcel 11251 to Stockyard Development Group, LLC, and authorize the <br />Director of Public Works to execute said documents. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby authorize the sale of Tax Parcel No. I1251 to Stockyard Development, <br />Group, LLC, in the amount of $20,100.00 and authorizethe Director of Public Works to execute <br />said documents. <br />DATED this 5th day of July 2023, atEllensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COTINTY COMMISSIONERS <br />TON <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Clerk of the Board- Mandv Buchholz <br />Vice-Chairman
