TO AWARD THE CONTRACT FOR
TIIE 2023 CONCRETE SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE REPAIRS PROJECT
AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids for the 2023 Concrete
Sidewalk Maintenance Repairs Project in accordance with RCW 39.04.155
Small Works Roster Contract Procedures; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on June 22,2023, at 10:000 am; and
WHEREAS: One responsive bid was received for the prescribed work; and
WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the responsive bid from Belsaas and
Smith Construction,Inc., of $53,346.00 be accepted.
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby award the contract for the 2023
Concrete Sidewalk Maintenance Repairs Project in the amount of $53,346.00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract
documents for said project.
