KITTITAS COUNTY - FAUST ROAD BRIDGE #88212 OVER TOWNE DITCH REPLACEMENT PROJECT
KITTITAS COTJNTY ELLENSBURG, WASTIINGTON
Sealed bids will be received by Kittitas County Public Works, at the reception desk located at 4Il North Ruby Street, Suite
1, Ellensburg, Washington until 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 17r2023, and will then and there be opened and publicly
read for the construction of the Faust Road over Towne Ditch.
All bid proposals shall be accompaniedby a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in
an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such
contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid
proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County Public Works.
The right is reserued to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

The Kittitas County in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4)
and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to
this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an
awafd.

The improvement for which bids will be received is described below:
The work to be performed within 90 working days from the date of Notice to Proceed consists of furnishing all materials,
equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items inoidental thereto for:
The improvement of Faust Road over the Towne Ditch, including the replacement of the existing bridge, guardrail,
approaches, shoulders, installation and removal of a temporary detour, additional site grading, roadway paving and other
work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
Engineer's estimated range for the project is $1,700,000.00 - $1,880,000.00.
