JUNE 20, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Chief <br />Civil Deputy Prosecutor; Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Ben <br />Kokjer, Chief Deputy; Arden Thomas, Water Resource Program Manager; <br />and Mark Cook, Public Works/CDS Director. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING DECLARE EQUIPMENT SURPLUS SHERIFF <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />declaring equipment surplus to Kittitas County. <br /> <br />BEN KOKJER, CHIEF DEPUTY, requested the Board’s support on a <br />Resolution which would declare certain equipment surplus to the <br />County and authorize the Sheriff to sell the listed property. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC <br />PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2023-098 DECLARE EQUIPMENT SURPLUS SHERIFF <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2023-098, to <br />Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING DECLARE EQUIPMENT SURPLUS AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 2:01 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider the <br />disposition of items deemed surplus to Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ZACK DeHAVEN, ACCOUNTANT II, reviewed a proposed Resolution which <br />would declare equipment surplus to the County and to authorize <br />removal from the County’s Assets. <br /> <br />THERE BEING NO ONE IN ATTENDANCE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC <br />PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2023-099 DECLARE EQUIPMENT SURPLUS AUDITOR <br /> <br />VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to approve Resolution No. 2023-099, to <br />Declare Equipment Surplus to the County. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
