ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Resolution authorizing execution of Amendment B with
Washington State Department of Commerce for Community
Development Block Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV1 & 2) program
contract #20-6221C-115
BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners approved the following
regarding CDBG-CV1&2:
Resolution No. 2021-030 authorizing interagency agreement with
Washington State Department of Commerce for agreement 20-
6221C-115.
On July 19, 2021, the BOCC signed WA Sate Dept of Commerce
Amendment Number A to amend contract date to June 30, 2023.
This resolution is to approve contract Amendment B to CDBG CV1
& CV2 to add a three month extension to amend end date to
September 30, 2023 to provide more time to spend down funds.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution authorizing execution of Amendment B with
Washington State Department of Commerce for Community
Development Block Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV1 & 2) program
contract #20-6221C-115
HANDLING: Please return signed copy of resolution and amendment to
Dora Van Epps, auditor’s office to get Washington State
Department of Commerce signatures.
