KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />June 20, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing execution of Amendment B with <br />Washington State Department of Commerce for Community <br />Development Block Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV1 & 2) program <br />contract #20-6221C-115 <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> The Board of County Commissioners approved the following <br />regarding CDBG-CV1&2: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 2021-030 authorizing interagency agreement with <br />Washington State Department of Commerce for agreement 20- <br />6221C-115. <br /> <br /> On July 19, 2021, the BOCC signed WA Sate Dept of Commerce <br />Amendment Number A to amend contract date to June 30, 2023. <br /> <br /> This resolution is to approve contract Amendment B to CDBG CV1 <br />& CV2 to add a three month extension to amend end date to <br />September 30, 2023 to provide more time to spend down funds. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing execution of Amendment B with <br />Washington State Department of Commerce for Community <br />Development Block Grant – Coronavirus (CDBG-CV1 & 2) program <br />contract #20-6221C-115 <br /> <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please return signed copy of resolution and amendment to <br />Dora Van Epps, auditor’s office to get Washington State <br />Department of Commerce signatures. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: CDBG Contract Number 20-6221C-115, Amendment B <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Dora Van Epps, Accountant II <br />Brian Carlson, Budget and Finance Director
