Home My WebLink About06-20-23 Agenda Resolution for Amendment A 22-62210-008BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT A WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT 22-62210-008 RESOLUTION NO. 2023-_____ Whereas, Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public agencies within the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and Whereas, Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce entered into an agreement via Resolution 2022-200 for CDBG Public Services Grant 22-62210-008 to fund the costs incurred for the public services through HopeSource to low- and moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for the period of July 1, 2022 thru June 30, 2023, and Whereas, Washington State Department of Commerce has provided Amendment Number A to amend Contract Number 22-62210-008 by adding additional funding of $81,000.00 with an amended start date of July 1, 2023 and amended end date of June 30, 2024. The original grant amount was $83,000.00 and with the additional funding, the new grant amount is $164,000.00. The purpose of the amendment is Public Services through Hopesource to low- and moderate-income persons in Kittitas County for program year 2023. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT A WITH WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT 22-62210-008 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners authorizes the execution of Contract Number 22-62210-008 Amendment Number A of the Interagency Agreement with Washington State Department of Commerce, attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference. APPROVED, this 20th day of June 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington.
