AGENDA DATE: June 20, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards signature on the Professional Service
Agreement with Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc. for
removal and disposal of County owned mobile homes.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County purchased the Shady brook mobile home park
and has been purchasing trailers as people have moved from
the park.
On May 16, 2023, we went out to bid for the removal of the
remaining of the county owned mobile home and miscellaneous
structures. On May 24, 2023, a mandatory prebid walk through
was held and seven contractors participated in the walk
through. One June 5th bids were received, and the county
received one bid. The County has done its due diligence to
confirm that the low bidder is a licensed and bonded contractor
within the State of Washington.
INTERACTION: Prosecutors office
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend the Board of County Commissioners sign the
Professional service agreement with Belsaas and Smith
Construction Inc.
