RESOLUTION NO. 2023- ____
RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID
WHEREAS: Kittitas County went out to bid for a contractor to remove county owned
mobile homes and other buildings at 1200 E. University Ave, Ellensburg, WA; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County held a mandatory pre-bid walk through on May 23, 2023
which was attended by seven potential bidder; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County received bids on June 5, 2023 at 2:00pm in the
commissioner’s office and only one bid was received; and
WHEREAS: Belsaas and Smith was the only responsive bidder for the project; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County has confirmed that the low bidder in as licensed contractor
with the Department of Labor and Industries and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: the Board of County Commissioners, in
the best interest of the public, hereby awards the bid for the Removal of County owned
Mobile homes and other structures at 1200 E. University Way, Ellensburg, WA to
Belsaas and Smith Construction Inc.
