ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution Establishing Revolving Fund/Petty Cash
Accounts for the Kittitas County Fair and Kittitas Valley Event
Center Events
BACKGROUND: This is an annual request for $25,000 in advance funds/petty cash that is
imperative for the operations involving the Kittitas County Fair and
Patriot Night Under the Lights. Previous petty cash resolution
presentations were conducted by the County Budget and Finance
Director, but it was delegated to the Event Center Director this year.
INTERACTION: Kittitas Valley Event Center
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office
Board of County Commissioners
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Commissioners approve the Resolution to
establish revolving fund/petty cash accounts for the Kittitas County Fair
and Kittitas Valley Event Center events.
