ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Director on the Washington State Dept. of Health Rural Equity Grant Contract Amendment 2.
(Effective dates: 03.15.2021-05.31.2024)
BACKGROUND:
No cost extension through May 31, 2024, for Rural Health Equity Grant to lead and coordinate
efforts to reduce Covid19 related health disparities at the community level as described in
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Grant National Initiative to Address COVID-
19 Health Disparities Among Populations at High-Risk and Underserved, Including Racial and
Ethnic Minority Populations and Rural Communities (CDC-RFA-OT21-2103).
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on May 23, 2023
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on June 7, 2023
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Director on the Washington State Dept. of Health Rural Equity Grant Contract Amendment 2.
