ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Department on the Greater Columbia Behavioral Health. (Effective dates: 05.2023-Ongoing)
BACKGROUND:
This MOU establishes the regional opioid abatement council (OAC) for the Greater Columbia
region and Kittitas County as a participating member. Greater Columbia Behavioral Health LLC
will serve as the administering agency for the OAC, which oversees the use of the opioid
settlement funds, as outlined in the One Washington MOU previously signed by the BOCC.
Greater Columbia Behavioral Health LLC will charge each participating government in the
region actual costs OAC activities annually, up to but no more than 10% of opioid settlement
funds.

Kittitas County Prosecutors: Reviewed and approved on May 23, 2023
Kittitas County Auditors: Reviewed and approved on June 7, 2023
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners approves the signature of the Kittitas County Public Health
Department on the Greater Columbia Behavioral Health. (Effective dates: 05.2023-Ongoing)
