JUNE 05, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner, Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Debbie Stanavich, Administrative Assistant; Kate <br />Jimenez, Administrative Assistant; Bryan Elliott, Auditor. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending June 2, 2023. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION VETERANS SERVICE BUDGET COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Bryan Elliott, County Auditor reviewed a request for a Budget <br />Amendment for Veterans Assistance. He stated that it was their <br />recommendation for the Board to authorize a one-time budget <br />amendment of $28,288 (six months budget expenditure) to ensure the <br />KCVC can continue operations through the end of the year. He stated <br />that approving this request would reduce the fund balance to <br />$142,246 but would not have a material impact on any other aspect of <br />the County budget as these funds are restricted to only be used for <br />veterans assistance. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve the budget amendment, as <br />presented.
