BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF'KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />REsoLUrroN No. 2023 - 0q 4 <br />AWARDING THE CONTRACT F'OR THE INTERSECTION CORRIDOR SAFETY <br />IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY ENGINEER TO <br />EXECUTE THE SAME <br />WHEREAS:The call for sealed bids supporting the Intersection Corridor Safety <br />Improvements Project (CRP 313-21) was authorized by the Kittitas County <br />Board of Commissioners on May 2,2023; and <br />WHEREAS: The Department of Public Works solicited bids in accordance with RCW <br />3 6.7 7 .020 Contract Procedures; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were received and opened on May 25,2023, at 10:00 am; and <br />WHEREAS: There was one (l) responsive bid received for review; and <br />WHEREAS: The lowest responsive bid was from H and H Construction Solutions, LLC in the <br />amount of $566,483.00; and <br />WHEREAS: The County Engineer recommends the lowest responsive bid be accepted; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners finds it in <br />the best interest of the County to award the Contract for the Intersection Coridor <br />Safety Improvements Project to H and H Construction Solutions, LLC; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign contract <br />documents for said project. <br />DATED on this 6th day of June 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COI.INTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />, WASHINGTON <br />wright, <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ith, Vice-Chairman <br />-)rtr <br />n Deputy Clprk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Commissioner
