MANASTASH ROAD CREEK BANK STABILIZATION
KITTITAS COUNTY ELLENSBURG, WASHINGTON
Sealed bids will be received by Kittitas County Public Works, at the reception desk located at 4ll North Ruby Sh'eet, Suite
1, Ellensburg, Washington until 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 29r2023, and will then and there be opened and publicly
read for the construction of the Manastash Road Creek Bank StabilizationProject.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in
an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such
contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payrnent bondi within the time stated in the specifioations, the bid
proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County Public Works.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

The Kittitas County in accordance with Title Vl of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4)
and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to
this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of mce, color, or national origin in consideration for an
award.

The improvement for which bids will be received is described below:
The work to be performed within 40 (forty) working days from the date of Notice to Proceed consists of furnishing all
materials, equipment, tools, labor', and other work or items incidental thereto fbr:
The project provides for the improvement of Manastash Road by constructing a wood studded rock rer.etment along
Manastash Creek for the restoration of the creek bank and to provide protection for the roadway embankment by means of
creek diversion, excavation, slope stabilization, placement of rock barbs, construction of large woody structures, placement
of hot mixed asphalt, guardrail and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract
Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
Engineer's estimated range for the project is $760,000.00 - $840,000.00.
