MAY 30, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; Commissioner, Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Debbie Stanavich, Administrative Assistant; Bryan <br />Elliott, Auditor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending May 26, 2023. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION D.O.C. OPT IN OR OUT HOMELESSNESS FUNDS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Bryan Elliott, County Auditor reviewed a recent funding opportunity <br />that Department of Commerce has opened up. He stated that the County <br />can opt in or out but if the County opts in then it can only be used <br />towards existing programs via contract for Homelessness & Affordable <br />Housing. He said if the County opts out then it goes directly to the <br />lead agency (HopeSource). Commissioner Osiadacz stated there was not <br />time to get this to the HAHC Committee since an answer is needed by <br />5/31/23 so she asked that it be brought to the Board and stated that <br />she would recommend the County to opt out and allow it to go to the <br />Counties Lead Agency. The Board supported Commissioner Osiadacz’s <br />recommendation and stated they would be in favor of opt-ing out. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION TRIAL REMOTE FRIDAY’S IN BOCC COMMISSIONERS <br />
