KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 6, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County Equipment. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office requests a public hearing be set to declare equipment surplus to the county. RCW 36.34.010 authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to decide whether county-owned real or personal property is surplus to the needs of the County and whether disposal would be in the best interest of the County. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County Equipment. <br /> <br />HANDLING: None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
