INVITATION TO BID
KITTITAS COUNTY _ INTERSECTION CORRIDOR SAF'ETY IMPROVEMENTS
KITTITAS COUNTY, ELLENSBT]RGO WASHINGTON
Sealed bids will be received by I(ittitas County Public Works, at the rcception desk located at 4ll North Ruby Street, Suite
1, Ellensburg, Washington until 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 25,2023, andwill then and there be opened and publicly read
for the construction of the Intersection Corridor Safety Improvements.
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in
an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such
contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid
proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County public Works.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.

The Kittitas County in accordance with Title Vl of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (79 Stat.252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4)
and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to
this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to
this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration ior an
award.
This project has a DBE Goal of 4Yo
The improvement for which bids will be received is described below:
The work to be performed within 45 (forty-frve) working days fiom the date of Notice to Proceed consists of furnishing all
materials, equipment, tools, labor', and other work or items incidental thercto for:
The improvement of Kittitas County roadways, including adding/upgrading signing with LEDs for intersections and school
zones, replacement/upgrading of existing intersection warning signs, speed limit signs and other work, all in accordance
with the atlached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
Engineer's estimated range for the project is $405,000.00 - $440,000.00.
