AGENDA DATE: May 16, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval to advertise a call to bid for
replacement of the scales at the Cle Elum transfer station.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Solid Waste Cle Elum transfer Station was
built in 2003. Due to normal wear and tear along with the new
longer vehicles and trailers coming to the facility it is time to
replace the scales. The new scales will also allow for
weighing the longer Waste Management transfer trailers.
INTERACTION: Commissioners office, Prosecutors office,
RECOMMENDATION: Recommend the Boards approval to advertise the call for bids.
HANDLING: Clerk of the Board to Advertise
