AGENDA DATE: May 16, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Amending the Professional
Services Agreement between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County to Add a
Mental Health Case Manager.
BACKGROUND: On May 4, 2021, the BOCC approved a Professional Services
Agreement between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County for a full-time
mental health counselor at the Kittitas County Jail. The agreement is now being further
amended to add a full-time on-site mental health Case Manager and shall continue from
year-to-year upon mutual agreement and based on mutual adjustment in rate of pay at
3%. This position will be funded by a Bureau of Justice Administration mental health
grant (SH23-014).
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved the amended agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution Amending the Professional Services
Agreement between Comprehensive Healthcare and Kittitas County to Add a Mental
Health Case Manager.
HANDLING: Please return one fully executed original to the Sheriffs Office.
