IT STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Regular Meeting
MONDAY 11:00 AM April 24, 2023
Board members present: Cory Wright, Laura Osiadacz, Brett Wachsmith

1. Call to Order
2. Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit)
None present.
3. General IT updates
The annual Cybersecurity Insurance questionnaire was recently submitted.
IT has entered discussion with the Treasurer’s Office concerning PCI compliance. IT will
contribute every appropriate effort to develop accepted practices for offices and departments to
accept credit card purchases.
IT is working on creating a disaster recovery plan for the County’s IT infrastructure and data. It
is hopeful to secure grant funding for the hardware required.
4. Approval of equipment purchase for new Prosecuting Attorney Office
This was presented at the recent Agenda Session in the Admin Matters item, but no action was
recorded. Presented again at the meeting, Mr. Wachsmith moved to approve, Ms. Osiadacz
seconded, and the motion carried.
5. Other business
The board informed IT that will be required to conform to the prescribed agenda format for
upcoming IT study sessions.
