KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. MAY 2, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and Mark Cook, Public
Works Director.
PUBLIC HEARING WSDFW WILDLIFE FENCE PUBLIC WORKS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing continued from
April 4, 2023, to consider a Franchise for a Wildlife Fence with
Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife in the vicinity of
Stevens Road, Ellensburg. He noted the record was open.
MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, said he had been contacted by the
Department of Fish & Wildlife and they are requesting a continuance
to the Public Hearing to allow the Attorney General’s office to
review the document and then it would then need the Prosecutor’s
office review as well.
VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to continue the Public Hearing to
Tuesday June 6, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Auditorium,
noting the record is open. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded. Motion
carried 3-0.
The meeting was concluded at 2:01 p.m.
