GENERAL IT UPDATES
Josh Goche’s internship concluded. His primary task was monitoring endpoint detection &
response software, crucial to our cybersecurity portfolio. His performance was very satisfactory.
Doug Fessler communicated his desire to skip computer equipment rotation in 2023. IT would
only rotate eligible equipment if a specific request is made by the department or office using that
equipment. A resolution will be brought to the board next month.
IT STAFFING DISCUSSION
Doug Fessler requested that the Board consider a change to the IT organization chart. Creating
two new positions, an Administrative Assistant, and a Network/systems Administrator. In
addition, Mr. Fessler asked that an Assistant Director position be created, to be filled from within
the department.
