ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for May 16, 2023, at 2:00
pm, Declaring Tax Parcel 11251 Surplus to the County
Needs and Consider Setting a Minimum Sale Price.
BACKGROUND: Tax Parcel 11251 is property owned by Kittitas County
Department of Public Works (PW). The property is
unbuildable and is impacted by Whiskey Creek that
traverses a large portion of the property. Consistent with
County Code and Revised Code of Washington
(36.34.050); PW desires having the Board declare Tax
Parcel 11251 surplus to the county needs and direct the
parcel be sold by sealed bids duly and properly noted and
managed by PW. PW also requests the Board set a
minimum sale price supporting PW's solicitation for sealed
bids within three days of the public hearing.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for May 16, 2023, at 2:00 pm to
declare Tax Parcel 11251 surplus to the County needs and
consider setting a minimum sale price.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider Tax Parcel 11251 Surplus to the
County Needs and Consider Setting a Minimum Sale Price.
