Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 2, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Suncadia Ph. 2 Div. 8 Plat <br />(LPF-23-00001 & LP-22-00005). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Suncadia Ph. 2 Div. 8 Preliminary Plat was approved on January 6, 2023 through <br />Resolution No. 2023-004. The plat covers approximately 290.30 acres accessed via <br />Swiftwater Drive. <br /> <br /> The applicant submitted the final plat application on March 2, 2023, requesting final <br />mylar approval for the Suncadia Ph. 2 Div. 8 Plat. A second complete submittal <br />package containing updated information was received on April 10, 2023. This Plat <br />creates 72 detached residential lots with associated roadways, a clubhouse and pool <br />amenity, as well as an open space and service tracts. The proposed lots range in size <br />from 8,400 to 38,000 square feet. Staff reviewed the final mylar with supporting <br />documentation and finds that it is consistent with the preliminary approval <br />documents. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all <br />signatures have been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public <br />Health, and Assessor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Suncadia <br />Ph. 2 Div. 8 Plat (LPF-23-00001 & LP-22-00005). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for Suncadia Ph. 2 Div. 8 Plat (LPF-23-00001 & LP-22-00005). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Kelly Bacon, Staff Planner
