TO AWARI} THE BID FOR
HERBICIDE APPLICATION FOR THE YEARS 2023-2026
AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS: A Small Works Solicitation was sent to Vegetation Management Contractors
for Herbicide Application for the Years 2023-2026 on February 27,2023; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened publicly on March 8,2023,at2:00 p.m. at Kittitas
County Public Works; and
WHEREAS: One (1) bid was received for the prescribed work. The Director of Public
Works recommends the responsive bid from Woodland Resource Services
Inc. be accepted; and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for Herbicide
Application for the Years 2023 -2026 to Woodland Resource Services, Inc.
for the application of herbicide to approximately one thousand (1,000)
shoulder miles of roadwav.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director for the Department of Public Works is
authorized to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions
specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
