BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT B TO INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH <br />WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY SERVICES & HOUSING DIVISION, <br />HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT <br />SHELTER PROGAM <br />REsoLUfloN No. 202s- c5 I <br />Whereas,Chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, authorizes public agencies <br />to enter into agreements for mutually advantageous joint or cooperative action; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce are public agencies within <br />the meaning of chapters 39.33 and 39.34 RCW; and <br />Whereas,Kittitas County and Washington State Department of Commerce entered into the agreement <br />to fund the Costs incurred for the public services through HopeSource to low- and moderate- <br />income persons in Kittitas County for the period of August 7, 2020 thru June 30, 2O23; <br />Contract #2'J.-46L0C-109 on Resolution 2020-1,66; and <br />Whereas,The original contract was amended with Contract #2t-4610C-109 Amendment A on <br />Resolution 202L-206 dated December LL,TOZI for additional bed inventory; and <br />Whereas,Washington State Department of Commerce has provided Kittitas County with Contra ct#2L- <br />4610C-109 Amendment B to add additional funding of $45,360.00 to the contract with an <br />amendment start date of March t,2023 and end date of June 30, 2023 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED, the Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners authorizes the <br />execution of the lnteragency Agreement Amendment B with Washington State Department of Commerce, <br />attached hereto, and incorporated herein by this reference.
