On April 4,2023, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners awarded a bid to the Daily
Record to serve as the Official County Newspaper beginning July I ,2023 through June 30, 2024.
I have included a copy of Resolution No. 2022-047 for your information and records. I have also
provided two original contracts between Kittitas County and the Daily Record for your review
and signature. I would appreciate you signing them both and returning one fully executed
original to our office within 5 business days. As you will note, the Daily Record is to furnish a
Performance Bond in the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for the faithful
performance of the contract within ten (10) days of the date of notification of award. I would
appreciate you providing me this information as soon as you can.
