KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON

SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY 2:30 P.M. MARCH 28, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner Laura
Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Patti Stacey, Solid
Waste Director/Interim Maintenance Director/Project Manager; Elisha
Harvill, Chief Administrator; Eileen Murphy, Director of the
Department of Public Defense; and 2 members of the public.
PUBLIC HEARING COMMERCIAL LEASE MAINTENANCE
At 2:30 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider
entering into
PATTI STACEY, SOLID WASTE DIRECTOR/INTERIM MAINTENANCE
DIRECTOR/PROJECT MANAGER, reviewed a proposed lease with Pautzke
Bait Co, Inc. for additional office space. She explained how the
Courthouse has run out of office space and they have been looking
for rental property to house all of the Prosecutors office. The
Sheriff’s office and the Department of Public Defense are also in
need of additional space. She said the property will be adequate for
the Prosecutors office, allowing for the Department of Public
Defense to move upstairs and leave room for a little extra office
space.
THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE
HEARING WAS CLOSED.
LEASE PAUTZKE BAIT CO LEASE MAINTENANCE
COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve a Commercial Building Lease
between Kittitas County and Pautzke Bait Co, Inc. VICE-CHAIRMAN
WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
The meeting was concluded at 2:36 p.m.
