TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. APRIL 4, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright and Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Excused: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works
Director; and 2 members of the public.
PUBLIC HEARING WSDFW WILDLIFE FENCE PUBLIC WORKS
At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened a Public Hearing to consider a
Franchise for a Wildlife Fence with Washington State Department of
Fish and Wildlife in the vicinity of Stevens Road, Ellensburg.
MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR, said he had been contacted by the
Department of Fish & Wildlife and they needed more time to review
who would be signing the Franchise Agreement. He requested a
continuance of the Public Hearing until May 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
VICE-CHAIRMAN WACHSMITH moved to continue the Public Hearing to
consider a Franchise with the Washington State Department of Fish
and Wildlife, until Tuesday May 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the
Commissioners Auditorium, noting the record is to remain open.
CHAIRMAN WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
The meeting was concluded at 2:01 p.m.
