GRiT 2023 Route description for Kittitas Co Road <br /> <br />The event will start and finish at either the main Central ski area parking lot or the Hyak ski area <br />parking lot. We are working with the land owners on this now. The route will proceed on 906, <br />then under I-90 at exit 54 and then on Lake Mardee Road until it become USFS road. From <br />there, the course will go over the Kachess ridge in a variety of ways on the USFS roads. Riders <br />will then travel on Kachess Lake Rd between Kachess campground and the I-90 crossing where <br />the road turns into Stampede Pass road. Riders will travel to Lost Lake road until it becomes <br />NF-5480. <br /> <br />Riders will travel both ways on each of these sections. The rider will need to follow the roads of <br />the road at all times and all roads will be considered open to all traffic. <br /> <br />The promoters will have temp traffic control at the start of the event at the corner of 906 near <br />Hyak and exit 54 to ensure rider safety. <br /> <br />All the rest of the course will be on USFS roads.
