AIRPORT HANGAR GROUND LEASE AMENDMENT
WHEREAS: on December 1, 2021, Kittitas County (“County”) and Linda and Mark Merrill
(hereinafter “Tenant”) entered into an “Airport Hangar Ground Lease ” (hereinafter ‘lease’) for
real property at the Bowers Field Airport, as authorized by Resolution 2021 -195; and
WHEREAS: the legal description erroneously set forth lot H -15B rather than lot H-24; and
WHEREAS: the size of lot H-15B is 6,960 square feet and the size of lot H -24 is 7,480 square
feet; and
WHEREAS: the annual rent for the lease will change from $1,113.60 to $1,254 per year based
on the increased space leased; and
WHEREAS: the parties wish to correct that error such that the Tenant’s lease is for lot H -24 for
the annual rent of $1,254.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED :
The Tenant and County agree to amend said lease by (1) correcting the legal description to
reference lot H-24, which is 7,480 square feet, (rather than lot H -15B that is 6,960 square feet)
and (2) specifying that the annual rent is $1,254.00 (rather than $1,113.00).
All other terms and conditions of the lease shall remain in full force and effect.
