Ohl <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve transfer of land lease from Dr. and Mrs. Lindsay to Mr. Pratz <br /> <br />BRIEFING SUMMARY: <br />- As of October 16, 2018, Dr. and Mrs. Lindsay entered a ground lease with Kittitas <br />County and constructed an aircraft hangar on the leased land. <br />- As of March 13, 2023, Dr. and Mrs. Lindsay have sold their aircraft hangar to Mr. <br />Chris Pratz due to their impending move from Kittitas County. <br />- A lease amendment and resolution have been drafted to transfer the existing lease <br />from Dr. and Mrs. Lindsay to Mr. Pratz. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Dr. Kenneth and Leslie Lindsay entered a land lease with Kittitas County on October 16 <br />th, 2018. Since entering the lease, they have constructed and utilized an aircraft hangar on <br />spot H-36 according to the current airport binding site plan. As of March 2023, Dr. and <br />Mrs. Lindsay will be moving away from Kittitas County and have sold their hangar on H- <br />36 and are looking to transfer their land lease to Mr. Chris Pratz. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Transferring the existing lease from Dr. and Mrs. Lindsay will allow Mr. Pratz to <br />continue utilizing the property at the airport. Furthermore, this will allow for the existing <br />lease to continue bringing the necessary revenue to the airport. Mr. Pratz purchased the <br />hangar from Dr. Lindsay, so transferring the lease will only make sense to allow him to <br />continue its use at the airport. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACTS: <br />The fiscal impacts are minimal as the existing lease would still be utilized by Mr. Chris <br />Pratz, so no revenue will be lost from the airport budget. <br /> <br /> <br />
