AGENDA DATE: April 4, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the awarded grant between Kittitas
County and the Office of Justice Programs, as well as the accompanying MOU between
KCSO and Comprehensive Healthcare to collaborate on this program.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Jail has been awarded a grant of $483,552 from
the Office of Justice Programs to enhance mental health services provided to those
incarcerated there. Coupled with the grant, is a MOU between KCSO and
Comprehensive Healthcare to collaborate on this program.
INTERACTION: The awarded grant and accompanying MOU has been reviewed and
approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge the awarded grant between Kittitas County and
the Office of Justice Programs, as well as the accompanying MOU between KCSO and
Comprehensive Healthcare to collaborate on this program.
