KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: April 4, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid <br />for Herbicide Application for the Years 2023-2026 <br />and Authorize the Public Works Director to Execute <br />Said Agreement <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works solicited (MRSC <br />Roster) to bid for the Application of Herbicide on <br />approximately one thousand (1,000) shoulder miles <br />of roadway in accordance with specifications. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Bids were opened on March 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. <br />One (1) bid was received. <br />Public Works is recommending awarding the <br />responsive bid to Woodland Resource Services, Inc. <br />at twenty-eight dollars and fifty cents ($28.50) per <br />mile applied. Public Works will be supplying the <br />herbicide for application. The work is budgeted in <br />the 2023 Road Fund Maintenance budget. <br />Public Works. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve the Resolution to Award the bid <br />for Herbicide Application for the Years 2023-2026 <br />and Authorize the Public Works Director to Execute <br />Same. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution. <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
