CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM.
CITIZEN COMMENTS (ONE MIN. TIME LIMIT)
None.
REQUEST TO APPROVE RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF ESTABLISHING BEST PRACTICES FOR DEVELOPING
AND MAINTAINING COUNTY-WIDE POLICIES
Director Killgore requested approval of a resolution to adopt a structured process for creating and updating
County-wide policies. Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Resolution 2023-035 to establish best
practices for developing and maintaining County-wide policies. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded the motion.
Motion was passed; 3:0.
CLOSED SESSION – COLLECTIVE BARGAINING – RCW 42.330.140(4)(b)
The OPMA does not apply to that portion of a meeting during which the governing body is planning or
adopting the strategy or position to be taken by the governing body during the course of any collective
bargaining negotiations, or grievance or mediation proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the
negotiations or proceedings while in progress.
The Board entered into closed session at 10:03 AM to discuss collective bargaining. No action taken.
