ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign the 2023 Lodging Tax Services Agreements as awarded by Resolution No. 2022-
BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax Advisory Committee Work Group met in an open public meeting on November 18, 2022, and January 4, 2023, and deliberated to reach a final funding
recommendation to be forwarded to each entity’s legislative body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating $310,247.90 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects.
INTERACTION: Kittitas County designated $232,378.87 to be available for grants as part of this process, Ellensburg designated $53,321.22, Cle Elum designated $23,529.60, and Roslyn designated
$1,018.21. The BOCC approved disbursement of funds from the Lodging Tax fund through Resolution 2022-____. The cities of Ellensburg, Cle Elum and Roslyn also approved resolutions allocating
their lodging tax disbursements.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC approve and sign the attached 2023 Lodging Tax Services Agreements LT-2023-002 through LT-2023-021.
