ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Contract for Indigent Public Defense Services.
BACKGROUND: This is a new agreement to provide indigent public defense services in
both Kittitas County Superior Court and the Lower Kittitas District
Court. This contract would be in effect from March 1, 2023 —
December 31, 2023 with a new contracted attorney.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the proposed Resolution. The
Prosecutor did not suggest any revisions to the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Contract for Indigent Public Defense Services for Marjorie
Alumbaugh for cases appointed in Lower Kittitas County District
Court and Kittitas County Superior Court.
