AGENDA DATE: February 21, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Contract for Indigent Public Defense Services.
BACKGROUND: This is a continuation of a previously BOCC approved contract that
expires February 28, 2023. This contract would be in effect from
March 1, 2023 — December 31, 2023 with a new contracted attorney.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed the proposed Resolution. The
Prosecutor did not suggest any revisions to the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Contract for Indigent Public Defense Services for
Elizabeth Gagley for cases appointed in Upper Kittitas County
District Court.
