KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 21, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge FFY22 EMPG (Emergency <br />Management Performance Grant) Agreement E23-184. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of the FFY22 Emergency Management Performance <br />Grant (EMPG) program is to award funds to states to assist state, local, territorial, and <br />tribal governments in preparing for all hazards through sustainment and enhancement of <br />those programs as described in the Work Plan. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved <br />the FFY22 EMPG Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge FFY22 EMPG (Emergency <br />Management Performance Grant) Agreement E23-184. <br /> <br />HANDLING: KCSO will provide a fully executed agreement to the BOCC upon <br />signature by WA State Military Department. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Chief Deputy Darren Higashiyama
