AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: February 7, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County
and Kittitas County Fire & Rescue (KVFR) for Fire Investigation
Services.
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County’s Interim Fire Marshal and Deputy Fire Marshal
currently do not have their fire investigator certificate. KVFR is
willing and able to continue providing these services for Kittitas
County.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and approved the agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and
Kittitas County Fire & Rescue (KVFR) for Fire Investigation
Services.
HANDLING: Please return 1 signed original to KCSO. KCSO will then return a
fully executed agreement to the BOCC upon signature by KVFR.
