ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Resolution authorizing approval of a contract amendment
with Hopesource subrecipient agreement related to Coronavirus
(CDBG-CV) contract number 20-6221C-115
BACKGROUND:
On March 2nd, 2021, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners
approved resolution No. 2021-030 authorizing an interagency
agreement with Washington State Department of commerce for the
CDBG-CV1 program contract #20-6221C-115
On June 15, 2021 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners
approved resolution No. 2021-094 authorizing a contract with the
Hopesource related to the Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program. The
contract expiration date with the Hopesource is January 31, 2023.
On July 19, 2021, the Washington State Department of Commerce
executed Amendment Number A for Contract No. 20 -6221C-115
amending the end date of the contract to June 30, 2023.
On December 1, 2022, Hopesource requested a budget adjustment of
$27,000.00 from Childcare Services to Subsistence Services.
Washington State Department of Commerce authorized this
adjustment on December 20, 2022.
This Resolution is to approve a contract amendment with
HopeSource to update the contract end date to June 30, 2023 and
amend the budget allocations between Childcare Services and
Subsistence categories.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Resolution authorizing approval of a contract amendment
with HopeSource regarding Coronavirus (CDBG -CV) contract
number 20-6221C-115
HANDLING: Please forward one fully executed resolution and two fully
executed contract amendments to Dora Van Epps, Auditor’s
Office.
