KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />February 7, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing approval of a contract amendment <br />with Hopesource subrecipient agreement related to Coronavirus <br />(CDBG-CV) contract number 20-6221C-115 <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> On March 2nd, 2021, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />approved resolution No. 2021-030 authorizing an interagency <br />agreement with Washington State Department of commerce for the <br />CDBG-CV1 program contract #20-6221C-115 <br /> <br /> On June 15, 2021 the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />approved resolution No. 2021-094 authorizing a contract with the <br />Hopesource related to the Coronavirus (CDBG-CV) program. The <br />contract expiration date with the Hopesource is January 31, 2023. <br /> <br /> On July 19, 2021, the Washington State Department of Commerce <br />executed Amendment Number A for Contract No. 20 -6221C-115 <br />amending the end date of the contract to June 30, 2023. <br /> <br /> On December 1, 2022, Hopesource requested a budget adjustment of <br />$27,000.00 from Childcare Services to Subsistence Services. <br />Washington State Department of Commerce authorized this <br />adjustment on December 20, 2022. <br /> <br /> This Resolution is to approve a contract amendment with <br />HopeSource to update the contract end date to June 30, 2023 and <br />amend the budget allocations between Childcare Services and <br />Subsistence categories. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approve Resolution authorizing approval of a contract amendment <br />with HopeSource regarding Coronavirus (CDBG -CV) contract <br />number 20-6221C-115 <br /> <br />HANDLING: Please forward one fully executed resolution and two fully <br />executed contract amendments to Dora Van Epps, Auditor’s <br />Office. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution authorizing the execution of HopeSource contract <br /> amendment and the contract amendment for signature <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Dora Van Epps, Fiscal Analyst
