HOPESOURCE
This Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement for the CDBG Public Service Subsistence Payments and
Childcare Services (signed by the County on June 15,2021)("Agreement")is made between KITTITAS
COUNTY (the "County")and HOPESOURCE.The County and Hopesource agree as follows:
The Washington State Department of Commerce ("Commerce")amended the terms of its Community
Development Block Grant Program agreement with the County (Program Contract #20-6221C-115),to
extend the time of performance to June 30,2023.
As such,the Subrecipient Agreement previously entered into between the County and Hopesource,which
currently specifies the Agreement expires January 31,2023,should be amended pursuant to Subsection
8.H (Amendments)of that Agreement,to extend the time of performance specified in Section 2 (Time of
Performance),as well as the final request for reimbursement deadline specified in Section 5 (Payment),
to be consistent with Commerce's grant extension.
The County and Hopesource both agree Section 2 (Time of Performance)is amended to specify the
Agreement expires June 30,2023;and Section 5 (Payment)is amended to specify the final request for
reimbursement shall be July 15,2023.
Also,Section 4 (Budget)detailed the 05Q Subsistence Payment budget as $142,364 and the 05L Childcare
Services budget as $75,000.On December 1,2022,Hopesource requested a budget amendment to move
$27,000 from 05L Childcare Services to 05Q Subsistence as the need for Subsistence is greater.
The Washington State Department of Commerce approved this amendment and has updated the budget
as follows:
05L -PS CMdcare Services $48.000.00
05Q -PS Subsistence Payments $169,364.00
The County and Hopesource both agree Section 4 (budget)is amended to reflect the updated budget
amounts.
All other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
