2023-01-30 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 3:00 P.M. JANUARY 30, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Greg Zempel, <br />Prosecutor; and Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:07 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced <br />the Board would recess into an Executive Session for twenty (20) <br />minutes with Chris Horner, Deputy Prosecutor and Greg Zempel, <br />Prosecutor, to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency <br />matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with <br />legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential <br />litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member <br />acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, <br />when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result <br />in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. There <br />was no action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 3:27 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />At 3:27 p.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back <br />into an Executive Session for ten (10) minutes with Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor and Greg Zempel, Prosecutor, to discuss with legal <br />counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency <br />enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing <br />the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, <br />the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, <br />or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the <br />discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial <br />consequence to the agency.
