Permitium Vital Records Update
Candi Blackford briefly reviewed the new vital records application, Permitium. Mrs. Blackford informed
the commissioners that currently the county does not offer paying on-line for vital records. The new
application will allow customers to order and pay for vital records on-line. It will offer more accessibility
to a wider range of customers and alleviate the long waits for our current credit card system. Permitium
will also help us set up out site and develop application flyers for our local hospital and schools.
Health Officer Hours Discussion
Chelsey Loeffers discussed our current health officer is budgeted for 8 hours but works more than 8
hours. Would like to discuss increasing to 12 hours after moratorium expires. Mrs. Loeffers will bring
updated budget numbers and request when the moratorium expires. The board did not object.
February Study Session
Mrs. Loeffers will be at WSLPHO on the next study session date in February. She would like to
reschedule to another date. There were no objections from the board members.
Board of Health feedback
Mrs. Loeffers discussed the challenges of obtaining a quorum for Board of Health and would like to
discuss options for going forward. The board was open to bringing the following information to a future
Board of Health meeting for group discussion:
• Alternate members
• Attendance guidance
Other Business
Mrs. Loeffers informed the Commissioners that the health department would be having head shots
done and would like the Board of Health to have a group photo done. She will bring the information to
