TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISII PETROLEUM AND LUBRICANT PRODUCTS FOR 2023
AI\D AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was advertised for Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2023
on December 22,2022, and December 29,2022; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on January 5,2023, at2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County Public
Works Department and five (5) bids were received; and
WHEREAS: Two (2) bids were received for Schedule "A" and One (1) bid was received for SchedulettB"; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A-1 Petroleum for
Schedule "A" be accepted; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Christensen, Inc
for Schedule "B" be accepted; and
WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of A and I
Distributors for Schedule "C" be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best interest
of the public, does hereby award the bid to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for 2023 to A-l
Petroleum for Schedule "A"; Christensen,Inc. for Schedule "B"; and A and I Distributors for Schedule
"C"; upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the contract
documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
