Summary:
• Attached resolution formalizes new IRS reimbursement rates
Background:
• IRS typically revised rates annually, and county follow suit with resolution to amend its policy accordingly
• Staff are encouraged to use County credit card for hotel reservations, so hotel reimbursement is mostly non-
applicable
• Resolution also adjusts mileage and meal reimbursements / per-diem
Analysis:
• Mileage reimbursement rate is increased by $.03. Meals and hotels reflect a slight marginal increase.
Conclusion / Next Steps:
• Approve resolution
