AGENDA DATE: January 17, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve and Execute a Resolution Ratifying and
Specifying Funding for the MOU between Superior Court and Court
Advocates for Children for Kittitas County.
BACKGROUND: On January 26, 2011 the Superior Court entered into an MOU with
Court Advocates for Kittitas County (copy uploaded). That MOU
was replaced with one in 2019 (copy attached). This Resolution
specifies funding for 2023 in the amount of $141,100, which was
approved in the 2023 budget.
Court Advocates also receives funding from the State. In 2023 said
amount is $43,218 and is passed thru the Superior Court Budget.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and signed the proposed
Resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and Execute a Resolution Ratifying and Specifying Funding
for the MOU between Superior Court and Court Advocates for
Children for Kittitas County.
