Request to Set a Public Hearing for February 7,
2023, at 2pm local time to consider amending
Kittitas County Code Section 10.08.010 Speed
Limits and Section 10.12.010 Stops and Yields for
Roads within the Black Horse at Whiskey Creek
Planned Unit Development
BACKGROUND: On January 17, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners
is scheduled to hold a Public Hearing to consider the
adoption of roads onto the county road system within the
Black Horse at Whiskey Creek Planned Unit Development.
At the time of consideration for adoption on to the county
system, the speed limit and signage were not included for
establishment. Public Works is requesting to set a Public
Hearing to establish said speed limit and appropriate
signage on said roads within the development.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for February 7, 2023, at
2:00pm local time, to consider amending Kittitas
County Code Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and
Section 10. 12.010 Stops and Yields for Roads
within the Black Horse at Whiskey Creek Planned
Unit Development.
HANDLING: Return one Notice of Public Hearing to Public Works

205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider amending Kittitas County Code
Section 10.08.010 Speed Limits and Section 10.12.010 Stops and Yields for Roads within the Black Horse at Whiskey Creek
Planned Unit Development.
