AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: January 17, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider/acknowledge reappointments or NEW
appointments to the following County Boards,
Committees and Commissions: Fair Board; Public
Lands Advisory Committee & Airport Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: Currently the County has multiple vacancies on its
volunteer Boards, Committees and Commissions.
Staff advertised in June and September of 2022 for
all upcoming and current vacancies.
INTERACTION: Staff published notice of vacancies through the
County’s Press Release application which sends
notice to the Daily Record, the County website and
its subscribers as well as KXLE Radio.
RECOMMENDATION:
Consider the Reappointments of Bradley
Gasawski, Steve Worley, Greg Parker &
Bridget Wood for a 3 year term to the Public
Lands Advisory Committee, effective
1/1/2023 and to expire 12/31/2025.
Consider the Reappointments of Becky
Sherley, Brittany Pearson, Clay Myers,
Becky McDowell, Robert Eddings, Amy
Cziske, and Jarred Fudacz, for a 3 year term
to the Kittitas County Fair Board effective
1/1/2023 and to expire 12/31/2025.
Consider the Reappointment of Brian
McElroy to the Kittitas County Airport
Advisory Committee (AAC) &
Acknowledge the City’s request for Mayor
Lillquist to remain on the AAC for a 3 year
term, effective 1/1/2023 and to expire
12/31/2025.
HANDLING: Staff to notify members of their reappointments
and/or new appointments to the following County
Boards, Committee’s and Commissions: Public
Lands Advisory Committee; Fair Board; & Airport
Advisory Committee.
ATTACHMENTS: Letters requesting reappointment.
Letters notifying members their term is expiring.
